Hello everyone. This is my first blog, so please bear with me.
I'm a Peace Corps volunteer destined to live the next two years in the wonderful country of Sierra Leone! I've been given the duty of teaching math, but I have no good estimate of age group or level! I'm sure my students will age somewhere from 12-adult, and class sizes could be anything from 10 to 30+. I am guessing I'll teach everything from Algebra up to Calculus.
As per Peace Corps core expectation #3:
Serve where the Peace Corps asks you to go, under conditions of hardship, if necessary, and with the flexibility needed for effective service
I've agreed to the job without question!
I leave in four days.
